Show Notes

There are many apps out there that can help those of us who are blind identify products such as food items, medicine packets and more.

These apps use a combination of OCR (optical character recognition) and AI (artificial intelligence) combined with the barcode on the product itself to complete the picture of what it is you are holding in your hand or showing the camera on your counter top.

Today on the podcast Steven Scott is joined by fellow Blind Guys Shaun Preece and Robin Christopherson to talk about Seeing AI, Google Lookout and Supersense AI.

Find out how they get on identifying random products around the home and share your thoughts on apps you’re using too by emailing us or call and leave us a voicemail on 0204 571 3354.
