Show Notes

There are a lot of product announcements coming out as a result of this year’s ACB (American Council of the Blind) and NFB (National Federation of the Blind) conventions this year.

One new product that has caught the attention of our Blind Guy Steven Scott is the new Stellar Trek device from Humanware.

But what is it and when can we get our hands on one? David Goldfield is an assistive technology specialist who works at Comcast and has been attending the conventions virtually. Following a presentation by Humanware on their new product he wrote a lengthy blog detailing the specifications of the new Stellar Trek.

David joins Steven Scott for a discussion on what he’s learnt and also shares his thoughts on devices such as these compared to smartphones running similar applications.
